Holiday Outfit Shopping - 30% off at Gymboree

Halloween may still be a few days off, but holiday deals continue to pile up fast. One item I try to purchase early is my daughter's Christmas outfits since stores can sell out in popular sizes. I usually try to have at least one holiday outfit ready to go for Thanksgiving weekend when we celebrate Christmas with family and friends that we don't see again in December.

Gymboree is currently offering 30% off of everything in the store. Since the holiday lines are new merchandise and not yet on sale, this is a great time to find your desired holiday outfit.

I loved Gymboree from the time my daughter was 1 through last year. From the time she was 3 until age 6 her wardrobe was probably 75% Gymboree. Now, I feel that she has outgrown many of their styles. I love their holiday line because they offer such a variety of outfits. We tend to have a more causal Christmas and the formal dresses aren't a good style for her.

The Gem Flower Pleated Dress is one that she could still wear today. Unfortunately they don't have it available in a size larger than a 9.

When she was a few years younger, I would have selected Fair Isle Sweater Dress or the Gem Cable Sweater Dress from their Girls size range.

In the Baby Girl size range, I like their version of the Faux Fur Collar Fair Isle Sweater Dress and Fair Isle Sweater Dress.

Beyond the Christmas dress, I usually buy my daughter a few other holiday themed shirts and skirts or pants to go with them. This year, my pick is the Gem Glitter Reindeer Tee paired with the Gem Jean Skort.

Since I only have a girl (and two nieces), I have never given a lot of thought to boy's clothes. Gymboree does offer options from button shirts and sweaters to a few long sleeve t-shirts. I would probably opt for the Fair Isle Pullover Sweater and the Elf Food Pyramid Tee or Rockin' Xmas Santa Tee for casual looks.

Everything $16.99 at Gymboree!!

My daughter lived in Gymboree clothes for years. I loved their quality and their styles through her toddler, preschool, and early elementary years. By keeping my eye out for sales, coupons, and Gymbucks, I found most of her clothes at great prices.

The Gymboree $16.99 & Under Sale launched today. Everything in the store is $16.99 or less (online and in-store). This is a great chance to shop their new lines, which includes a number of holiday outfits, which have not previously been discounted. Gymboree also sells Halloween costumes, so if you don't have a costume for your child yet, this is your chance.

If you are planning a co-ordinated outfit holiday photo, have you considered Gymboree's Family Looks in holiday outfits. The Fancy Holiday line includes options for girls (3-12), boys (3mos-12), and a matching skirt for mom. The Joyful Holiday line includes options for the entire family from newborns through men and women. The adult sizes are on-line only offerings and with free shipping on orders of $75 or more, it makes sense to order online for all. You can return or exchange items in-store if needed (for items sold in store).

Today We've Got to Play!

Disclaimer: I am a Gymboree Affiliate and am compensated for sales through Gymboree links. I have also been compensated for sharing this post with you. I appreciate your support of my blog by shopping through my links.
I cannot believe how quickly my daughter is growing! She's in second grade now and almost any time we pull in the driveway she's asking to run next door and play with a friend instead of coming in the house. Last weekend we were at a picnic and when I was looking for my daughter, my eyes went right over her. I was looking at the kids who only came up to her shoulder.

Gymboree has created the following video to remind you that "Today We've Got to Play!" to celebrate and share cherished moments in childhood. Gymboree has created an amazing new video to help kick off this campaign:

Again, I am amazed at how old my daughter has gotten. She is older and less into the type of play shown in the video. Most of her clothes came from Gymboree from the time she was 2 or 3 until last fall in first grade. Sadly, she has outgrown their styles.

So watch and enjoy, then share your favorite cherished childhood moments in the comments! Be sure to use the hashtag #cherishchildhood when commenting or if you share this video with friends!

Gymboree 40% off Deals - Today ONLY

From the time my daughter was 3 until 6.5, Gymboree was our go to store. While they still sell clothes in her size, I'm starting to find that some of the styles are a little young for her.

Disclaimer: I am a Gymboree Affiliate and am compensated for sales through Gymboree links. I appreciate your support of my blog by shopping through my links.

Today only Gymboree is running two great deals. They are offering Today Only at Gymboree.com - 40% Off School Styles For Boys! and Today Only at Gymboree.com - 40% Off New Regular Price Socks, Tights & Underwear!

If you are looking for girls clothes, they are also offering: Shop the Back to School Collection at Gymboree & Save 30%!

Personally, I love their tights for my daughter. Last year she was somewhat between the 5-7 size which were almost too small and the 8-10 size which was too big, so they didn't work well. This year however, the 8-10 should fit well. My daughter did pick out a nice Halloween themed outfit this week: Halloween Kitty Tee Skinny Ponte PantThe set is currently 30% off.

40% off at Gymboree Today Online Only

Disclaimer: I am a Gymboree Affiliate and am compensated for sales through Gymboree links. I appreciate your support of my blog by shopping through my links.

From the time she was 4 my daughter's wardrobe was almost exclusively from Gymboree until the last year or so. My daughter's preferred clothing item is a dress. I loved that they had a variety of casual dresses that co-ordinated so that the same accessories would match them. Their clothes fit my daughter well and I liked their style. Sadly, she is getting older (and taller) so some of their styles are a bit young for her.

Today (August 8), they are offering 40% off on the newest Kid Girls Styles. The deal is only valid online.

I love the Chevron Stripe Sweater Dress. It would make a great first day of school outfit. Unfortunately it is not available in a size larger than a 6 and my daughter needs a 9 or 10. It is a shame because it is a really cute style and appropriate for an older child.

When she was in preschool and kindergarten, I would have been ordering the Sequin Flower Stripe Dress. However, I find it a little young looking for her now in 2nd grade.

If you are looking for something other than Kid Girl or want to buy already discounted items, through August 14 they are offering 30% off all regularly priced items and 20% off of already discounted items.

Gymboree offers FREE Shipping on orders over $75. You can also do returns in the store.

Gymboree Gymbucks Redemption Time

Today is the first day of GymBucks redemption at Gymboree. I was surprised to be an only customer at the store when I arrived (it did get crowded while I was there).

Most of the merchandise is not on sale since you are getting the GymBucks redemption. However, there is a Buy One, Get One 50% off promotion on jeans running as well as some leftover clearance from the early summer lines.

For fall, I was able to get my daughter two pairs of jeans for $11.28 each. I also stocked up on a few items for next summer - two t-shirts, a dress, and a pair of shorts ranging from $3.12-$9.41

For those who are not familiar with GymBucks, a few times a year Gymboree designates a GymBucks earning period. For each $50 you spend during the earning period, you earn $25 in GymBucks to be spent during the redemption period (usually ~2 months later). For example, I earned my GymBucks on May 13 and June 3. During the redemption period, you can redeem $25 in GymBucks on a $50 purchase. At the worst, you are receiving 50% off full-price merchandise. While the redemption period does not have many sales, I received 30% off promotions when earning my GymBucks in addition to sales.
